As per a couple of posts ago…I am on a diet. This is somewhat strange to me, because my whole life I’ve been trying to get huge-a-normous. I feel that I’ve gotten to an acceptable size and strength however, and now I want to see how far I can push my body and how shredded I can get…thus the diet.
Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to fully implement all of my dietary rules, but once I find the time to actually go out and shop for myself, I plan to really up the stakes. Until then, however, here’s an update on what I have been doing.
For starters, I have been able to completely cut out white bread. I now have a couple of types I will use, either a good whole grain bread, or I also get something called Ezekiel bread (tastes better when toasted).
Butter/cream cheese/etc….all gone. I have also stopped eating “dessert” type foods completely, and have switched from chips and salty/oily snacks to healthier things like those veggie chips and all that shit. Definitely eating more fruits too, so I’m doing ok in that category.
I’m trying to eat more times per day to keep my metabolism up, but I’m still working on getting into a routine with that.
****Another tip that I forgot in my last post….DRINK WATER….drink lots of it, drink it slowly, and drink it cold…refer to “H2 OH YEA” for reasoning.****
As for the results. I’ve legitamately lost (and have kept off) 3lbs in about a week and a half (down to 179 from 182). I haven’t really noticed any strength or size reduction, which is always good. I also think my gut is and will continue to be affected, which is awesome b/c that’s where most of my body fat is anyway.
So there wasn’t too much to report back on, but there have already been minor changes…stay tuned for more updates.
